SD Connect C5 DoIP Mercedes Diagnostic System

The MB Star C5 SD Connect is the latest generation Mercedes diagnostic platform designed for professional workshops and specialists. Unlike older C4 systems, this model supports UDS and DoIP (Diagnostics over Internet Protocol), making it compatible with modern Mercedes-Benz vehicles including W222 and W205 platforms.

This real SD Connect C5 multiplexer includes built-in WiFi connectivity and internal HDD storage, allowing both wireless and wired operation. It supports full system diagnostics, coding, and programming using Xentry software.

DoIP and UDS Support on SD Connect C5

The MB Star C5 SD Connect supports:

K-Line communication
CAN-BUS systems
UDS protocol
DoIP diagnostic protocol (ISO 13400)

Because newer Mercedes vehicles use DoIP communication, older C4 systems without UDS chips cannot support these models. Therefore, the C5 is required for diagnostics on newer platforms.
